My experience using an LED face mask

Consistency Matters More Than Intensity
At the beginning, don’t overdo it. Follow the recommendation of 10–15 minutes per day, and keep using it continuously for one to two weeks. You’ll see clearer changes in your skin compared to occasional long sessions.

Choosing the Right Mode Is Key
• Acne/Oily skin: Use blue light more often for oil control and anti-inflammation.
• Sensitive/Red skin: Switch to yellow light to soothe and brighten.
• Anti-aging: Red light combined with near-infrared stimulates collagen and repairs deep layers.
Adjusting the mode according to your skin’s condition each day works better than always using the same one.

Proper Fit Improves Results
For cat-ear models, a good fit is essential. If it doesn’t sit snugly, light scatters and effectiveness drops. Clean your face before use and remove metal accessories so the light reaches the skin evenly.

Combine With Basic Skincare
LED masks is a supplement, not a replacement. Gentle cleansing and moisturizing make the results more stable. If you’ve just exfoliated or used acid treatments, wait a day before light therapy to reduce irritation.

Protect Your Eyes
When using infrared or near-infrared, close your eyes or wear protective goggles to avoid light damage.

Battery Care and Cleaning
Wireless use is convenient, but remember to recharge in time. Wash the silicone cover with a neutral cleanser to maintain hygiene and prevent bacteria from affecting your skin.
After trying different setups, I realized keeping three to four LED masks on hand—some for home use, others for travel or specific skin concerns—made it much easier to stay consistent. Each mask could target a different need, so I never had to skip treatments when my routine changed.
